RFU confirms new girls-only Under 11/12 age band for 2026/27.

The change is designed to help clubs retain young female players who want to keep playing girls-only rugby at that age, rather than moving straight into mixed groups. Mixed rugby at Under 11 remains available as an option.

Community clubs raise record £153,000 for RFU Injured Players Foundation.

Twelve community rugby teams came together at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, to fundraise for the IPF, which supports players at any level who sustain a catastrophic injury playing the game. It's the highest total the event has raised to date.
